When will I receive my items?
 

Digital Items such as gift cards or event tickets are sent within 24 hours of purchase by email. This is automated by Mortellus' web host, and they are unaware of whether or not it was received. If you do not receive them, or have any difficulty, please reach out by email to let them know. Please note that gift cards have an expiration date of one year, and events and workshops take place on the stated date and time.

For Pre-Orders you can expect that the items will be mailed no sooner than the date of public release, whenever that may be, and owing to the unpredictable nature of publishing, creation, and life, the release date may fluctuate. Mortellus, unfortunately, has no control over this, and cannot offer refunds for changing dates.

Custom or Made-to-Order Items such as talismans, hand sewn items, spell kits, spirit boards, jewelry items, and so on, ship upon completion, and the time may vary greatly.

Shipping, General: Orders ship on a fluctuating timeline dependent on many factors, including Mortellus' travel schedule, deathcare work, world events, holidays, and whether your order contains something made-to-order or custom. Generally speaking Mortellus' ships orders within two weeks of the order date on the nearest Monday (rounding up) utilizing USPS ground shipping for which tracking numbers are automatically applied to your PayPal order. This typically works out to about three weeks, but add a weeks time if these dates fall over a major holiday or sabbat, or if Mortellus' is out of town at an event (Their events schedule is listed publicly on their Patreon, and on the Events page of this website). If your order occurs between Thanksgiving and January 1st, Mortellus does not begin processing those orders until January 2nd, and they will unlikely ship until the third week of January. If your order contains ANY custom, made-to-order, or pre-order, the entire order will be held for that item. If you'd like them to ship separately, please order them separately to cover the individual shipping costs.

It is not illegal to own human remains in the United States, though some states (Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee) have restrictions, which is why Mortellus cannot ship some items to those areas. You are responsible for checking your local laws and regulations before ordering, determining whether any items you order are allowed in your area.

Mortellus can, and does not, accept responsibility for any items that are returned, seized by any regulatory authority (such as customs), and can, and does not, offer refunds in these instances.
